emily bihl is a freelance writer and designer (and sometimes-songwriter) currently based in St. Louis. She is the founder and creative director of dark-minimalist retail destination HEALER, as well as the heritage menswear & cocktails blog RYE & RIVET, which has produced two local pop-up shops since its inception in 2011. She is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, having received a BA with honors in both English and Creative Writing. She was the 2013 recipient of the Three Arts Club of Homeland prize for Fiction. Her work has appeared in RACKEDCool Hunting, Golly Magazine, BRIT + COFashionista, and more.
